Elizabeth and Joe met on a crisp fall day when Elizabeth breezed into Joe's doublewide jobsite office trailer. Their passion for the construction industry sparked their first connection and filled their early conversations. Working on the coastal project together, they shared many of their first dates where they are soon to get married.

The North Carolina coast has a special place in their hearts. Craven County being where they met, they soon discovered they have spent the last 30 years going to their family's beach homes just a mile apart from each other in Pine Knoll Shores.

It was only fitting, on a stormy July afternoon, Joe sealed the deal proposing to Elizabeth off the shores of Shackleford Banks.
